The new Skynest suspension lamp by Flos marks the return of StudioMarcel Wandersto the theme of the domed suspension, already explored with its best-selling Skygarden . The name evokes a nest of light floating in the sky, while the lamp is a union between traditional craftsmanship and the most advanced LED technology. The light is emitted by the elements that make up the structure of the lamp: LED strips covered in fabric. Each single luminous element is powered by special micro connectors in the upper part of the dome, and is covered with a two-tone mesh, with the side oriented towards the inside of the dome always white, so as to allow optimal light emission of the LED module. The fixture is equipped with a balancing system integrated in the upper part of the dome which allows you to adjust its balance making it perfectly stable.
The underside of the dome is completed with an aluminum ring that holds the entire mesh structure of the dome in place via a simple snapfit system. The suspension lamp is available in 4 finishes: Blue Tourmaline, Almond, Anthracite or Brick: the rosette, in plastic material, is painted with the same finish as the dome, equipped with integrated electronics that allow the use of different dimming systems: 0-10V / 1-10V / DALI / PUSH.
